Communication and Education

We are establishing a database for East Goshen as a whole, and for each distinct community within its borders. We will provide facts about the pipeline, including what to do to protect ourselves, our homes and businesses, our pets, and our environment. Our outreach will include information about who to contact when concerns and problems arise. The agencies, the companies, the legislators - each of these need to know that we will not passively accept East Goshen as an unchallenged Pipeline Highway to Marcus Hook. Let’s take our Township back! Sign Up Here

Safety and Emergency Planning

Safety is the driving force of this committee. In fact, safety is the driving force of EGSEA. We have begun working with Chester County Emergency Services, the Goshen Police Department, the County Hazmat Team, the Fire Department, and other relevant officials. We are fortunate in East Goshen to have a dedicated, well trained, equipped and funded body of officials who are committed to protecting us. This pipeline project represents a different degree of risk however, and requires additional coordination to prepare for its potential dangers. Individuals in each of these agencies are fully receptive to our desire to work with them for additional preparation and notification to our residents. Do you have experience in emergency or evacuation procedures? Are you passionate about this issue? Join the Safety and Emergency Planning Committee

legislative outreach committee

The legislative outreach committee's mission is to provide primary interface of all local and state legislative branches in an effort to familiarize them with EGSEA mission and outreach programs. We are meeting with elected officials as appropriate and are encouraging them to support our legislative initiatives as it pertains to pipeline activity. We will keep our community abreast of pending legislation that impacts our program and provide period updates to our organization.  Join the Legislative Outreach Committee!
